After identifying a gap in the Hoboken events market, I developed a branding ecosystem that established Roe 7 as an upmarket events venue. Social media, online presence, and marketing materials focused on positioning Roe 7 as an upscale, millennial-friendly experience for young families in the Hoboken area.
Recognizing that a client, who owned a childcare center in Hoboken’s Monroe Center, was missing out on revenue when her space was unused during the weekends, my partner and I pitched converting her business’s loft space into an upscale events studio on weekends. We marketed Roe 7 Studios as an events production venue unaffiliated with the childcare center and operated on a rent-free model, instead giving a commission on each booking to the business's owner. I developed an online and offline brand ecosystem to engage existing clients and find new ones.
